ABOUT ARIA CARRERAS PEREIRA

FUN FACTS

I love to weightlift, sing, and enjoy making crafts in my spare time. I speak Spanish, Portuguese and French and dabble in Italian and German. I moonlight as an opera singer and aspire to be an amateur ceramicist.

ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

I actively participate in the environmental justice initiatives with Columbia University's student-run Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion outreach program Environmental Justice and Urban Ecology Summer Research Program. We collaborate with a local high school in Washington Heights NYC, the New York Restoration Project, and the Earth Institute.
